Texas received its first commitment from Celina lineman Jake Raulerson and Jesuit wide receiver Jake Oliver committed to Texas on Wednesday. All three players are 6-4 or taller. Texas also is hoping for a commitment in the near future from 6-5 Sealy dual-sport athlete (receiver/basketball player) Ricky Seals-Jones.
All four players were visitors at Texas' first Junior Day this past Sunday as they toured the athletic facilites and met with Brown, viewed video with staff and mingled with players and academic support staff as well.
Robinson has been highly rated and recruited. He'd tentatively set other unofficial visits for Alabama, Baylor and LSU. Arkansas, Arizona, Michigan, Michigan State, Duke, Oregon, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Georgia, Auburn and Notre Dame also have been actively recruiting.
