TOC 5 Star Perfomance Camp Preview

The first The Old Coach 5 Star Performance Camp of 2010 should have some serious talent recruiting experts have heard of but also many names who are under the radar looking for a breakout on the recruiting scene. The camp will also provide an opportunity for younger players to make their first real impact in recruiting and get their names out there.
Let's take a look by position at some names to watch on Saturday.

The quarterback position is stocked with several dual threats who not only possess the ability to throw the ball but also have open field speed. DeSoto's Ryan Polite highlights this crew of signal callers. Other names to watch include: Will Boyette from Arlington Lamar, 2012 prospect Josh Price from North Crowley, Blake Turner from Rowlett and Brady Lambert from Aledo. Lambert who is a tremendous athlete started for Aledo as a sophomore at OLB.
As always a talented crew of backs is expected to be in attendance with two names highlighting the list. DeSoto's Antoine Jimmerson and Everman's Cory Franklin are expected to lead the pack as they are both very talented Division 1 prospects. Other players to watch include Trinity's Terrance Tusan, Cedar Hill's Ronnie Green and Denton Ryan's Kaylon Alexander.
The top player at the camp may very well be Arlington Bowie WR Cameron White, the TCU commit will likely compete for camp MVP honors. A major sleeper to watch is Grandview's Daniel Spencer, a great athlete with a lot of upside Spencer could really make a name for himself. Others to watch include Corsicana's Tevin Appleton.
Moving over to defense the group of defensive lineman should be solid, one name to watch is Kennedale's Shiawo Garteh a champion weightlifter who great speed Garteh will be a name to watch. Little Elm DE Justin Robinson will be another name expected to make an impact. Plano East DT Darius Hood and Cedar Hill'sCameron Porter will also be players to watch.
The secondary will also feature some names to watch starting with Corsicana's Thomas McDonald and Dallas Smith's LaDarrell McNeil. One sleeper to watch is Fort Worth Poly DB Mario Breeding.
