THSCA South All-Star feature high-profile stars
There will be lots of karma going for the South when it meets the North in the THSCA All-Star football game July 21 at Texas' Memorial Stadium.
The South roster includes eight players who've signed with UT or Texas A&M and will eventually be facing each other as opponents in future A&M-Texas duels on Darrell K. Royal Field.

But in their last high school game, Lake Travis quarterback Garrett Gilbert, Aldine Eisenhower receiver Greg Timmons and Madisonville running back Chris Whaley are all future Longhorns teamming with A&M signees Dustin Harris, Sean Porter, Brandal Jackson, Rhontae Scales and Spencer Nealy.
The THSCA Coaching School and Convention is in Austin for an earlier start than usual _ July 19-22.
The All-Star Basketball game will be July 20 at The Frank Erwin Center. In the football game, the South will be coached by Katy's Gary Joseph and the North will be coached by Monahans' Mickey Owens.
