With the recruiting class of 2012 shaping up, TheOldCoach.com, takes an in-depth look at the players that are generating chatter among college coaches and the fans from across the state.
We have updated our high school player rankings with our Hot 100 juniors from staff discussions and direct communication with coaches from across the state.
The future of this class is very bright with a number of "blue chip" athletes who will be at the top of recruiting lists as soon as National Signing Day is completed this week.
The loaded 2012 class is deep particularly with offensive linemen, defensive positions, and athletes in general.
For those fans wanting in-depth, detailed information on some of the top 2012 college football recruits in Texas, here's our first "Hot List". We've got the detailed breakdown on each and every player on the list.
You may already be familiar with some of the names on the list, like Aledo's Johnathan Gray, who's already being mentioned as the most celebrated back in the state since Adrian Peterson, or Cayleb Jones, who's drawn plenty of attention since his sophomore season and could be the best receiver to come out of the state in some time.
There is plenty of additional talent and TheOldCoach.com will continue to update the "Hot 100" throughout the spring leading into the release of our final list in The Old Coach Friday Night Football Magazine publishing in June.
Check out our list here and talk about it in the forums:
