New commitments across Texas

A weekly feature, 'Commits This Week' will detail each new commitment from the state of Texas. Lets take a look at the two new commitments from around the state this week.
Utah lands Texas DT:

Houston (Texas) St. Thomas defensive tackle Lorezno Neal committed to Utah this week. The 6-foot-2, 302-pound prospect chose the Utes over other offers from Boise State, Fresno State, Louisiana Lafayette, Nevada, Oregon State, Purdue, Texas State and Tulsa.
Utah now has a total of 16 commitments in the 2016 recruiting class.
Washington State adds Texas QB:

Corpus Christi (Texas) Flour Bluff pro-style quarterback Cody Brewer committed to Washington State this week. The 6-foot-6, 223-pound prospect chose the Cougars over another offer from Sam Houston State and interest from a handful of programs, including a few from the Ivy League.
Washington State now has 11 commitments for the 2016 recruiting class.
