Memphis offer Texas Elite 11 QB David Blough

Add Memphis coach Justin Fuente to the list of believers in 6-1 quarterback David Blough.
Purdue offered the Blough the first week of May, just a few days after Blough received an invitation to the prestigious Elite 111 quarterback competition.

Former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees tweeted out the Elite offer for Elite 11 camp dirrector Trent Dilfer.
Fuente is a former offensive coordinator at nearby TCU. Memphis offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey and quarterbacks coach Brad Cornelson made the formal offer Wednesday during spring evaluations.
Purdue offensive coordinator John Shoop has been a regular North Texas visitor as well. Blough is a three-year starter with a strong arm and has been skyrocketing as the quicker release and accuracy he's been perfecting under noted QB coach Kevin Murray, who has a bevy of college quarterbacks around the country including former Allen quarterback Alec Morris at Alabama.
Blough the first Texas high school quarterback to receive an invitation to the national 2013 Elite 11 quarterback competition earning an invite to the national event to be held at the Nike Facility in Oregon the weekend of June 28 and is edited into a defacto ESPN reality broadcast special.
The 6-1 Blough is one of the country's top pro-style passers. He's completed 251 of 477 passes (56 percent) for 3,363 and 28 TDs. He's being evaluated by Arizona State, Baylor, Purdue, Rice, SMU and North Texas.
