Guyton holding steady at three offers

Spring evaluations are in full swing as players across the country begin to pick up more and more offers.
That may be happening soon for Houston (Texas) Lamar running back Kalvin Guyton.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Guyton already holds offers from Nebraska, Minnesota and Houston.
However, he is still receiving plenty of interest and even had a visitor on Monday.
"(Monday) I talked to Oklahoma. Coach (Kevin) Wilson the offensive coordinator came by the school so I talked to him for a little bit. He was just saying that he liked me and when he got back he was going to talk to the running backs coach about offering me. He said they've already got a couple people committed but he's going to see if he can still find me a scholarship there."
There are also a few other schools that Guyton hopes can "find" him a scholarship.
"There are a few other schools I'd like to get in touch with like Florida, Miami(Fl) and Cal," Guyton said.
As for deciding between these schools, Guyton is still not quite sure of when he'll do that.
"I want to make my decision probably during the summer. I might just wait until after I visit my top five schools though," Guyton said.
When it comes to his own team, he's a little worried about the amount of players that lost off of last years team.
"We lost a lot of seniors from our team last year. We're still going to be alright on the offensive side though. I think the offense will be able to step up to help out the defense. We lost a lot of key players on defense especially with our linebackers," Guyton said.
While the rest of the team is working hard in Spring practice, Guyton has not yet joined them.
"They're having spring practice right now, but I'm not out there because I'm with track right now. We've got state this weekend. I run in the 4x100," Guyton said.
Last year he ran for 931 yards and 15 touchdowns.
