Gilmer running game proves to much for Atlanta

Longview- Atlanta junior running back Corrion Webster rushed for 184 yards and one score but it wasn't enough as Gilmer rolled to a 48-14 victory.
However, it was Gilmer's ground game that proved to have more firepower. The Buckeyes finished the night with 321 yards on 46 carries.

Leading the way was Gavin Holt and freshman Chase Tate. Holt ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns while Tate chipped in with 112 yards rushing.
Jordan Traylor, making his first ever playoff start as a quarterback, threw for 140 yards and a couple touchdowns while rushing for another.
Traylon Webb and Eddie Fluellen were Traylor's main targets on the night. Webb had a 45 yard touchdown grab and Fluellen added a 14 yarder.
Webb, also a standout on defense, added an interception for the Gilmer "Black Flag" defense. Gilmer had three interceptions on the night. The other two came from Tanner Barr and Dylan Bowman.
Barr, just a sophomore, has eight interceptions on the season.
Atlanta finishes its season at 6-5 while Gilmer (11-0) will play Van (10-1) next Friday night in Longview at Lobo Stadium. A good game is expected as the game will feature the Gilmer running game vs. the Vandal defense led by Tennessee commit Dalton Santos.
