Fisher ready for new challenge

This year Keller (TX) Fossil Ridge makes the move into 5A against tougher competition.
However, they might be one of the few teams that has the talent to handle that move pretty well.

One piece of that talent is wide receiver Aaron Fisher.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound speedster has already picked up an offer from Arizona, but is expecting a new one soon.
"Utah has been talking to me about offering soon," Fisher said.
He's also gotten plenty of invites to check out spring games from several schools.
"I got invited to Oklahoma's spring game, SMU's spring game and Texas A&M's spring game. I got invited to a few others I can't remember right now," Fisher said.
Despite the new competition, Fisher is very confident in his team and their abilities.
"We should be pretty strong. Even though we're moving up to 5A, we should do pretty well in our district," Fisher said.
"The biggest game of the season is probably going to be against Euless Trinity. Then the Keller game since they're our rivals. We should win our district, even though Trinity is in our district, we should beat them."
There are a few tough teams in the new district that Fisher feels could also challenge to win the district.
"Of course Trinity, then Colleyville is always strong and Grapevine always has a good team," Fisher said.
Fisher has an impressive list of accolades from last season, but aims to be first-team all-state this season.
"I was all-district, all-area and honorable mention for all-state last season," Fisher said.
