DeSoto RB to Air Force
THEOLDCOACH recieved a text from DeSoto HC Claude Mathis advising RB Devin Rushing has verbally committed to play at the Air Force Academy.
Rushing has been a member of the powerhouse Eagles varsity squad since his sophomore year and as a junior he ran for 570 yards and 7 touchdowns, averaging nearly six yards per carry. Rushing is also a very good receiver out of the backfield as evidenced by his 20 receptions for 218 yards in 2010.
The DeSoto senior to be was also getting interest from Iowa, Iowa State, North Texas and San Diego State.
