Cedar Hill HC Joe McGuire informed THEOLDCOACH.COM that a pair of his senior athletes have committed to playing football for the service academies.

On Saturday safety Demarcus Robinson verbally committed to the Air Force Academy. Robinson, a 5'10 163 pound safety earned first team all 5-5A honors as a senior.

On Sunday, the 6-foot-3, 230 pound defensive end, Jude Akpunku, committed to serving our country and playing football at the United States Naval Academy.

Akpunku had been linked to a verbal commitment to UTSA but after taking a weekend visit to the Naval Academy Akpunku decided to become a Midshipman.
